Otto Link alto saxophone mouthpiece Bell Metal Super Tonemaster usa 5 jjbabbitt 24K gold plated. Bite plate shows next to no signs of being used, body has a lovely cared for appearance. Tip and rails are perfect, no signs of being knocked or dropped. Plating on the mouthpiece is perfectly intact.Table shows a small amount of impact from the ligature being tightened down on it. I will send with a reed to protect the table from any wear in transit from the ligature plate. Ligature shows more wear to the plating than the mouthpiece, so maybe an older lig. It has a cross knurled (rather than straight knurled) thumbwheel and is slightly domed. No idea of the age of the ligature!! The top of the ligature has the V stamped to help orientate it correctly on the mouthpiece. The metal cap is a nickel finish older Link cap, not the modern plastic type.
The box is a mismatch, it has a handwritten correction from a printed Tenor to Alto and an 8 to a 5.
