Fred Rast Alto Saxophone Mouthpiece. These are the best alto mouthpieces out there in my opinion. I have had about 8 and currently still play them, as well as on soprano. I've moved on to a little bigger tip opening and getting rid of a couple of my. 096's to have Fred make me another.
Huge sound, not overly bright like a meyer but still present in the upper mids and the attack. Generally Fred's mouthpieces will take whatever you can give them. Great on every horn I played them on but particularly great on selmers and yanis. This one, 273, plays a little bigger than the other I have for sale. I had actually sent it back to Fred to make it play even bigger than it was.
It's huge even for one of his. Please see pics and ask any questions. The item "Fred Rast Alto Saxophone Mouthpiece Selmer. 096 Sax" is in sale since Monday, May 13, 2019.
