1950's Selmer short shank Soloist alto saxophone mouthpiece with a rare B facing. This arrived along with a 5-digit Mark VI alto. The table, rails and tip all look excellent. There's a very shallow indentation on the beak which can be easily fixed with a mouthpiece patch. Most short shank Soloists have either a C or C facing, so finding one with a B facing is quite rare.Relatively closed facings have become more popular for classical saxophonists, which makes this mouthpiece a bit darker than most short shanks. The extra resistance feels good on this one, as there's something to blow against. I invite you to try this mouthpiece risk free.
